Kinda coo

Since its a draft/experiment, suppose its only right to talk about what you are testing here.

Fuzzwah seems like a cool emotive idea or effect; might be even more powerful to bring in a dry guitar and bring the song into the fuzzwah. etc etc

Not typical but

I actually rather like the guitar tone.
From a tone snob, feel the love bro.

I think its kinda what this mix needs anyway.
Fredman style mic'ing a v30 loaded cab, for example, would kill the rest of the mix LOL

Warhector responds:

thanks man:) sorry for late response!
The guitar tone, well, I had a shitty guitar effect board. No preamp or mics here, so I had to improvise with various effects in the daw. I'm happy with the result. Now I am a mixing snob and appreciate a good mix and mastered song. But thanks for listening!

GUITAR TONE

IS BEAST!!!
I love it-

Feel free to tell me about your setup sir

dammit-dude-2006 responds:

It's pretty cheap stuff, literally just use a Line 6 GX with the newest Pod Farm plugin. Not too sure exactly what tone i used though. I think it might be a variation on Periphery's 'Bulb distortion' tone that they put up for download. I also doubled up the guitar playing the lower stuff just to thicken it up. Thanks so much for the review, good sir!

From one...

From one guitarist to another,
GREAT TONE

Sheodon responds:

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

omg

Oh man I'm amped to see another SOM remixer, much less another fan of the game!

This piece has def been overlooked....until now! You completely nailed it!

Phrasing

Didn't know you played guitar! Probably because you don't 'need' to use it in every piece you do! Which is cool all in itself.

Anyway, Review:
Before talking about your guitar, I'll say that this would make a cool title, given its name. The mix sounds good and seems to be intended for something more than just an improv track. Cool cool.

Your phrasing is Very Good. Real important as a guitfiddlist.
Tone, can't tell what gear you use for the piece, but tone works great for the theme.
Clean chops for the licks played. Stylistic stuff I have no complaints,
use of double stops, hammer-on pull-offs, and wrist vibrato were well executed here.
Was going to complain that only the pentatonic scale was used here, in lieu of adding some natural minor, but I heard a few blue notes used in wonderful places (blues scale) so I retract.

In closing, very good guitar work for this piece. Would like to hear more tracks with it, and more to see how extended your guitar capabilities are.
