This is awesome and inspiring!
Sounds JUST like INFLAMES
You are king!!!

Burn7 responds:

Ahaha... I didn't think about it like that actually, I think you're right! It totally kinda does sound like In Flames :P I mean... Not as good, AT ALL. But sorta the same style :D

OMG AWESOME!!!

Ok first off. How did I not see this and why aren't there 100000000 plays?
I can tell the band is talented, but I can tell they left all the room for the vocals to shine so props on playing nice.
Subsequently, the mix is great and everything sits where it should and stays there. Even leaves headroom for those silky harmonies to really come through too. Which I'm a sucker for.

So Second, I really like the vocal work. Plenty of emotion, and still dynamic. A few points to consider if you think that some of the parts are 'typical tricks' that a vocalist does:
There's some extreme training going on. Standard vocalists do fills and runs in small intervalic distances, and their vibratos are on an on/off switch.
This one uses 7 note scale patterns in wider forms, and even a pentatonic run at 0:52. And a vibrato bloom at 0:58. And an gilbert arpeggio at 3:52. Not another person that just woke up and said "i should sing in a band!"
It's like she plays guitar with her face lol.
Sorry didn't say more about the band- this song isn't really their moment- but I can tell they could do some brutal damage if tempted.

Dimoria responds:

Thanks alot man! It honors me and my girlfriend alot :) When we recorded this I started calling her a "meatkeyboard" because she is always on perfect pitch. Really glad you like it! And we hope we can deliver again sometime :)

Beautiful!
I was missing a pair of left/right rhythm guitars following the bass in the beginning, but now i see why you did it this way, since the leads fill in with some chunk off/on.
Dynamics are great, but it still hits the compressor nicely on bottom.
Of course, I've always been a fan of your multiband mix technique.

Composition as well as the solo are great- remind me of some of my favorite artists combined.
I like how you don't mind gain'ing down to get a good mix- its hard for most guitarists..

I found myself rewinding because I liked part at 0:28 and wanted it to come back around.
A few parts of the solo sounded like there were some intonation problems. But its all gravy cuz it sounded like you were super into it, which is awesome. And also it was right after a chromatic part- the psychology of which helps.
No stars off for personal preferences though of course.
Awesome song man

InYourDreams responds:
